Aloha Kākou
I am Kauanoe. Wife. Mother. Clinician. Owner.
I’ve spent much of my life learning how the body moves, performs, recovers, and adapts and I’ve experienced that journey both personally and professionally.
For years, CrossFit and weightlifting have been a huge part of my life. But training hard also taught me an important lesson: recovery isn't a luxury. It's part of the work.
That realization led me to explore a more intentional approach to recovery, incorporating PEMF therapy, red light therapy, massage, stretching, rest, and other wellness practices into my own routine. These modalities became tools that helped me continue doing the things I love while paying closer attention to what my body was asking for.
My journey eventually led me back to school, where I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Hawaiʻi Pacific University. Becoming a DPT later in life, while raising a family, maintaining a home, and continuing to train; gave me an entirely different perspective on what it means to care for the whole person.
I don't believe the body exists in isolation.
Movement, recovery, stress, sleep, nutrition, environment, family, and life all influence how we feel and perform.
My approach is rooted in education, movement, hands on care, and helping people better understand their own bodies. Whether you're an athlete trying to stay healthy, someone working through a nagging issue, or simply looking for ways to recover and feel better, my goal is to meet you where you are.
I also believe deeply in self care and taking an individualized approach. What works for one person may not work for another and that's okay. The goal is to find the tools that support your body, your lifestyle, and your goals.
A few things I've done along the way:
Doctor of Physical Therapy — Hawaiʻi Pacific University
B.A. Kinesiology & Exercise Science
Sports Massage Therapist — MAT# 17063
Certified Stretch Therapist
Certified Level III PEMF Specialist
USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach
Strength & Conditioning Specialist
CrossFit Level II Trainer — retired
And perhaps most importantly, I'm still a student.
I'm constantly learning, questioning, refining, and finding better ways to help the people I serve.
Because I don't just want you to feel better for a day.
I want to help you understand your body well enough to keep doing what you love for years to come.
Move well. Recover intentionally. Live fully.
